Grace Hosting Habitat For Humanity Hoops
On Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7-8, Grace College men’s basketball will be hosting a tournament including St. Francis, Trinity Christian and Wilberforce to increase awareness of substandard housing and the work of Habitat for Humanity of Kosciusko County. This is an opportunity to come enjoy some basketball and learn how you can get involved with Habitat in your community.
Some of the activities will include a Lowe’s workshop, 3-point shooting contests, partner family interviews, and other various activities throughout the weekend at the Orthopaedic Capital Center on the campus of Grace College.
On Saturday, Dec. 8, there will be a $50 benefit buffet in the hospitality suite, limited tickets will be sold and can be purchased in advance by emailing [email protected] or the day of the game. Each ticket will include a meal, T-shirt, and time with the partner families while enjoying the games from the suite.
Games begin at 6 p.m. Friday with St. Francis taking on Trinity Christian followed at 8 p.m. by Wilberforce squaring up against Grace. On Saturday, St. Francis matches up with Wilberforce at 1 p.m. while the Lancer’s play Trinity at 3 p.m.
