Mobile Meth Lab Dismantled At West Haven Estates
WARSAW — A multi-agency operation worked to dismantle a mobile meth lab at West Haven Estates off of Old Road 30 in Warsaw shortly before 6 p.m. this evening.
The meth lab was discovered inside of a green Chrysler minivan. The lab was active and used lithium, making the dismantling dangerous.
The Indiana State Police, Winona Lake Police, Warsaw Police, Atwood Fire and Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory all worked together to safely gather and destroy the lab.
One suspect is currently in custody. It was believed that the suspect did not live in West Haven Estates.
The lab was found within the same week of another mobile lab discovered on Center Street. Officers on the scene said that despite the recent discoveries, mobile meth labs have been on the decline locally.
