Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

8:52 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, West CR 800N, Nappanee. Drivers: Virgil D. Slabaugh, 22, 15B Road, Bourbon, and Jeremy L. Chupp, 18, West CR 800N, Nappanee. Slabaugh and Chupp were following each other and were parking in a driveway. Slabaugh did not notice that Chupp was turning to the right and hit the right front corner of his vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

1:10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, North CR 300E, north East Armstrong Road, Leesburg. Driver: Michael D. Wilson, 60, East CR 700N, Leesburg. Wilson’s vehicle, owned by the City of Warsaw, struck a fallen tree. Damage up to $2,500.

10:49 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, South Packerton Road, south of East CR 400S, Warsaw. Driver: Richard D. Mylin, 54, North CR 175E, Warsaw. Deer hit Mylin’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

6:06 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, South SR 19, south of West CR 800S, Mentone. Drivers: Chase A. Brower, 17, West CR 1250S, Akron, and Andrew L. Shaw, 32, North Franklin Street, Mentone. Brower turned in front of the Shaw vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

12:28 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, North SR 13 and East CR 350N, Pierceton. Drivers: E.M. Deister, 79, Aboite Center Road, Fort Wayne, and Johnny R. Isaac, 57, East Ponderosa Drive, North Webster. Isaac was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for a complaint of neck pain. Deister’s vehicle struck the back of the Isaac vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

4:35 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11, Epworth Forest Road, east of EMS W11 Lane, North Webster. Driver: Joel T. Hickman, 28, East Wesley Lane, North Webster. Hickman struck a tree that had fallen across the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.

4:33 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11, North SR 13 and East CR 400N, Pierceton. Driver: Mary E. Kiser, 54, East Backwater Road, North Webster. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

1:50 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, North SR 19, north of North CR 1050W, Etna Green. Drivers: Eric L. Bontrager, 21, 19th Road, Tippecanoe, and Allen J. Bontrager, 46, 19th Road, Tippecanoe. Allen Bontrager slowed his vehicle for a horse drawn vehicle and his vehicle was struck in the back by the Eric Bontrager vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:

4:37 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, South Huntington Street, Syracuse. A vehicle registered to Christopher M. Davis, South Circle Drive, Cromwell, was parked in the bowling alley when it was struck by an unknown vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

11:24 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11, North Dogleg Drive, south of East CR 1120N, Syracuse. Drivers: Bethann Ousley, 47, East Mulligan Court, Syracuse, and Sandra J. Roehm, 81, Fairway Court, Syracuse. Roehm suffered pain to the neck and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Ousley complained of pain to the chest but refused to go to a hospital. Ousley’s vehicle was over the center of the road and struck the front corner of the Roehm vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

12:10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11, Syracuse-Webster Road, north of West Pickwick Drive, Syracuse. Driver: Forrest P. Holsten, 17, North Sawgrass Lane, Leesburg. Holsten complained of pain to his entire body but refused medical treatment. Holsten swerved to miss an animal causing his vehicle struck a utility pole and sign. Damage up to $10,000.

6:47 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, South Huntington Street, Syracuse. Driver: Amanda S. Greer, 41, North CR 620E, Syracuse. Greer’s vehicle struck a parked vehicle registered to Mark A. Requejo, North Harrison Street, Syracuse. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

1:10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, SR 15N, north of CR 350N, Warsaw. Drivers: Jason S. Culver, 36, Winchester Court, Winona Lake, and Jennifer L. Gearin, 21, Oriole Lane, Warsaw. Culver’s vehicle struck the back of the Gearin vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.

12:41 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, Country Club Road north of Country Club Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Alexis L. Vercauteren, 20, South CR 200W, Claypool. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.

5:21 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, West CR 300N, Warsaw. Drivers: Peter L. Fisher, 50, Winchester Trail, Goshen, and Christopher J. Leiter, 42, North CR 200W, Warsaw. Fisher attempted to pass Leiter’s vehicle on the right as it was turning, hitting the Leiter vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

5:07 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, US 30 and North Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Madeline E. Call, 69, South Freedom Parkway, Winona Lake, and Thomas R. Cable, 64, East Lucas Street, Rochester. Call’s vehicle coasted into the back of the Cable vehicle. Janice L. Cable, 68, East Lucas Street, Rochester, a passenger in Cable’s vehicle, complained of neck pain, but declined emergency treatment at the scene. Damage under $750.
