Officers with Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

10:51 a.m. Monday, Aug. 21, East CR 1300N and North Camelot Drive, Milford. Drivers: Jeffrey G. Zimmerman, 46, North CR 450W, Ligonier, and Kendra S. Ostrander, 17, West Emeline Street, Milford. Zimmerman advised he did not see Ostrander’s vehicle and turned in front of her vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

7:29 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21, Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Robert A. James, 31, Lake City Highway 2, Warsaw, and Gary L. Neace, 34, Lake City Highway 10, Warsaw. James was attempting to back out of his driveway onto the main drive for Village Mobile Home Park when he struck Neace’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

7:14 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, East Market Street, south of South Scott Street, Warsaw. Driver: Carmen F. Albertson, 16, Fawn Court, Warsaw. Albertson advised she had stopped at a stop sign on Market Street and was then starting to proceed through the intersection when she struck the front tire of a pedestrian on a bicycle knocking the pedestrian to the ground. The pedestrian was a middle school student. The student stated she was not hurt, picked up her bicycle and proceeded to school. Albertson remained at the scene until EMS and police arrived. Officers made contact with the pedestrian at the school. It was determined by the school nurse and EMS personnel that the pedestrian/student should be taken to KCH for evaluation. Damage up to $750.
