Charges Officially Filed Against Bell
WARSAW — Charges have officially been filed against Gracie Leeann Bell, 37, 4081 N. Runkle Drive, Warsaw. She has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor. She was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail Tuesday, Aug. 22, and held on $5,250 surety and cash bond.
Documents filed Thursday, Aug. 24, in Kosciusko Circuit Court, show Aug. 22, Warsaw Police were called to a domestic dispute. The complainant met with police and advised he was having problems with a female neighbor and pointed her out to police.
Police went to speak with the female, who was standing by a vehicle, with a male. Another female was seated inside the vehicle and identified herself as LeeAnn Bruce, however police could not obtain any information on her through the Bureau of Indiana Motor Vehicles. Through talking with the other female, police learned Bruce was possibly Gracie Bell wanted on an undisclosed active warrant.
A Warsaw Police Officer and his K-9 partner, Mako, conducted an outer search on the vehicle, giving a positive alert to the presence of drugs in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle found a purse on the front passenger seat, where Bell had been sitting. Inside police found a driver’s license with her true identity, as well as drug paraphernalia with a white powdery residue Both items of drug paraphernalia tested positive for methamphetamine. Police also located two small bags containing a white crystal like substance that tested positive for ephedrine and pills identified as Lorazepan and Clonzapam, both scheduled IV controlled substances.
