TinCaps Baseball: Parkview Celebrates One Million Fans
FORT WAYNE – Since Parkview Field opened in 2009, the ballpark has been home to far more than just baseball. The venue has grown to host more than 700 non-baseball events a year, and now is celebrating its 1,000,000th guest for a special event.
The 1,000,000th Parkview Field guest milestone was celebrated on Monday, Aug. 28, during the Rotary of Fort Wayne’s weekly luncheon meeting in the ballpark’s Suite Level Lounge.
“It’s a testament to the support this community has given Parkview Field,” said Parkview Field Events Manager, Holly Raney. “The ballpark and all of its event spaces have become sought after locations for making memories, whether it is during ball games or banquets.”
Parkview Field routinely hosts a wide array of events on top of Minor League Baseball games. From major annual staples like Fort4Fitness, K105 Country Fest, and 98.9 The Bear Birthday Bash, to weddings, parties, business meetings, conferences, luncheons and much more.
Additionally, Parkview Field is a public park open daily for the community. Every day people in Fort Wayne utilize the ballpark as a location to walk, run, have lunch, and more.
