Tiger Swimmers Dominant In Win
WARSAW – The Warsaw boys swim team continued its early-season roll Tuesday night by hammering Huntington North 140-43.
The Tigers were led by the trio of junior J.D. French, sophomore Spencer Davidson and freshman Zach Taylor, all double individual event winner. French won the 50 and 100 freestyle races with times of 24.87 and 55.44 respectively. Davidson took firsts in both the 100 fly (57.18) and 100 breaststroke (1:05.57) and Taylor won the 500 freestyle (5:17.11) and 100 backstroke (59.45).
Also winning for Warsaw were Matt Wildman in the 200 freestyle (2:03.59), Jayden Parrett in the 200 IM (2:25.78) and Brandon Elliott in diving (183.50).
The Tigers also won all three relay events in the impressive win. The foursome of Parrett, Davidson, Taylor and Jacob Bill won the 200 medley relay race in a time of 1:52.55. The team of Davidson, Parrett, Caleb Snyder and Mackenzie Pelo won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:37.80 and the 400 freestyle relay team of French, Snyder, Andrew Thrasher and Josh Miller were winners in a time of 3:40.89.
Warsaw hosts conference foe Northridge Thursday night.
