Warsaw Volleyball: Day Paces Tiger Victory
WARSAW – The Warsaw volleyball team continues to roll right along.
Lexie Day provided the power once again Wednesday night as the Tigers took care of East Noble 3-0 in non-conference play in the Tiger Den.
Day delivered 13 kills as Warsaw topped the Knights 25-18, 25-9, 25-15 to improve to 11-4 on the season.
Kacy Bragg had nine kills to go with 23 assists and six digs for Warsaw. Day also had 11 digs in the win.
Hanna Leach added four kills for the Tigers. Elizabeth Schmid had three aces and nine digs and Addie Dickerhoff had two aces and seven digs.
Erin Peugh totaled 10 digs and Emali Grose finished with eight total blocks.
The Warsaw junior varsity team won 25-11, 25-17. Gwyn Bellamy had eight kills and four aces and McKenna Hawblitzel 10 digs to pace the JV win.
Warsaw returns to action Monday night with a big non-conference match at Penn. The Tigers then play at Columbia City Tuesday before hosting conference foe Plymouth Thursday night.
