Area Police Reports
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 2:51 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, 7200 block East Blacks Court North, North Webster. Kipp Coleman reported the theft of a Samsung Galaxy notebook. Value: $800.
- 12:52 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, 13400 block North Warner Road, Syracuse. April Shawn Freed reported receiving harassing text messages occurring over the past several months.
- 12:14 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 9800 block East Starry Eyed Lane, Cromwell. Police responded to a call of threats.
- 11:03 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 9500 block South CR 750W, Claypool. William D. Cloud reported an unwanted person on his property.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 11:35 a.m. Monday, Sept. 18, 700 block East Lake View Road, Syracuse. Russell Lawrence Boswell reported the theft of a spare tire to his vehicle. Value: $900.
- 12:02 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 700 block West North Street, Syracuse. Police were called to investigate a battery report.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 6:58 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 900 block Provident Drive, Warsaw. Raeann K. Rice reported the theft of items from her vehicle while parked in a parking lot.
- 6:26 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 900 block Provident Drive, Warsaw. Jessica R. Shepherd reported the theft of items from her vehicle while parked in a parking lot.
- 12:43 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 100 block East Winona Avenue and South Indiana Street, Warsaw. Police were notified of a violation of a protective order.
- 7:48 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, 800 block Walkers Ridge, Warsaw. Police were notified of a strangulation that occurred.
Goshen
Officers with the Goshen Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 9:36 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, Lincolway East and Eisenhower, Goshen. Shena L. Collins, 34, 230 N. Jefferson St., Cromwell, was arrested, during a traffic stop, for theft. During a search of her vehicle items belonging to Walmart were found. It was learned at least one item was not paid for. A report was taken and Collins was cited and released pending a Goshen City Court date.
- 12:19 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, 2000 block East Kercher Road, Goshen. Caitlin Campbell, Milford, reported the theft of a cell phone while at work.
