Pierceton Man Slams Woman Into Toilet, Causes Concussion
PIERCETON — A Pierceton man has been arrested after he slammed a female victim into a toilet. The victim had a concussion and porcelain embedded in her head.
Christopher Wayne Burnworth, 36, 8280 E. US 30, Pierceton, is being charged with domestic battery causing serious bodily injury, a level 5 felony; domestic battery with a child present, a level 6 felony; and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, Burnworth was arguing with two children. When the female stepped in to stop the argument, Burnworth grabbed her by the hair and drug her down the hallway. Burnworth dragged the victim into the bathroom and slammed her head against the toilet.
The victim’s mother arrived on scene and took the victim to Parkview Hospital. Medical technicians removed porcelain embedded in the victim’s head and advised she had a concussion.
Burnworth was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Oct. 9 with a $10,250 surety and cash bond.
