Frank C. Ehase
Frank C. Ehase, 77, of Logansport went to be with the Lord at 3 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017 at his residence.
Born on March 7, 1940 in Hammond, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Evelyn (Carlson) Ehase.
He was a 1958 Logansport High School graduate.
Frank served in the U.S. Army where he was in the secret cryptography division.
On April 16, 1966 he married Rita May Reke; she survives.
Frank had worked for the Ford Motor Company in Detroit. He also formerly owned and operated Arco Service Station with his father for many years. Frank also worked in the construction industry for Smitty’s Pole Barns and Steinberger Construction.
He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and the V.F.W. Frank was also an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 51 years, Rita Ehase of Logansport, children, Frank J. Ehase of Lake Cicott, Theresa Hamilton (Monty) of Logansport, Michael Ehase of Logansport, Dawn Stern (Zachary) of Logansport and Andrew Ehase of Lake Cicott, brother, Bruce R. Ehase of Logansport, grandchildren, Brad Hamilton, Sarah Hamilton, Dakota Cox, Frank Ehase, Derrick Ehase, Hannah Davis Ehase, Jared Ehase, Kaleb Stern and Klara Stern. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by brother, Charles Ehase, father and mother-in-law, Joseph Reke and Dawn Reke, brother-in-law, Joseph Reke II, and niece Tina Ehase.
Funeral Services will be at noon, Monday, Oct. 16, 2017 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial with Military Rites will be performed at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
