WARSAW — If you are looking for a fun way to spend your Friday night, check out this month’s First Friday event on Nov. 3. Sponsored by G&G Hauling, the “Thanks for Giving” themed event will be giving back to local non-profits.

Be prepared to see equipment exhibits and demonstrations featuring dump trucks, haul trucks excavators and more. There will be a sand pit with hidden items, a pet rock painting station and a scavenger hunt.

The scavenger hunt will send participants around to pieces of equipment and non-profits to answer some questions. Once completed, the filled out questionnaire can be turned in for a prize. “We will be drawing a name each hour to make a donation, in the winners name, to the charity of their choice,” says Mike Loher of G&G Hauling.

G&G is asking participants to bring needed items – including toiletries, canned goods, cold weather outerwear and toys – to help fill a quad-axle dump truck full of goodies for local non-profits. Whatever is collected will be distributed equally.

Excavator demonstrations will take place at 6:30 and 8 p.m. with a local celebrity excavator rodeo at 7 p.m.

“What were are doing has never been done before,” says Loher regarding the demonstrations and rodeo. “You won’t want to miss it.”
