WARSAW – It was a good season, both on and off the court, for the Warsaw boys tennis team this fall.

A pair of players from coach Rick Orban’s team have received academic honors from the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association for their work in the classroom.

WCHS senior Kyle Bartol received first-team Academic All-State honors, while classmate Colton Lind earned honorable mention All-State honors. Bartol played No. 2 singles for the Tigers this season, while Lind was the No. 1 singles player.

The Warsaw team also received Academic All-State honors. The Tigers won their sixth straight sectional championship this fall before losing to Culver Academy in the regional final.
