WARSAW — Warsaw is a giving community. Since 2014, the Warsaw community has come together to provide over three million meals to the Feed My Starving Children organization in just three years. Some of these meals were also used in the relief efforts in the aftermath of hurricane Matthew. The community has been able to truly make a difference in the fight against world hunger.

In our world today 925 million people are chronically hungry and 6,200 children die every day from starvation.

The hope is to contribute another one million meals in 2018. The community is preparing for another Feed My Starving Children Warsaw Mobilepack. In October 2018, the community will be invited to come together to pack meals. But the cause needs your support. The organization need to raise 22 cents for every meal packed. The goal is one million meals so Warsaw needs to raise $220,000.

Today, Giving Tuesday is the kickoff day for the 2018 event. $80 will feed one child for an entire year.
