Kids Learn Teamwork And Basketball Skills At The Y
WARSAW — Registration is going on now for the YMCA’s Youth Basketball League, where children second grade through sixth grade can learn basic skills in a positive environment. The YMCA emphasizes participation, fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship and having fun over winning.
Basketball games are played on Saturday mornings at the Parkview Warsaw YMCA, with practices on Mondays at the Y, or Tuesdays or Wednesdays at Harrison Elementary School. Games start Saturday, Jan. 13 and run until Feb. 17.
Register by Jan. 2 at the YMCA. Call Zane Gard at (574) 269-9622, ext. 238 for more information or see www.kcymca.org. You don’t have to be a Y member to play.
