Warsaw Common Council Approves Transfer Of Funds
WARSAW — If you could put a council of grown adults into a candy store their reaction would be the same as it was to a new interactive monitor. The Warsaw Common Council approved Ordinance 2017-12-02, transferring funds to cover the cost of a new interactive monitor. “That is impressive,” stated Council President Mike Klondaris after hearing all the screen’s features.
The board approved to transfer $9,000 to cover the cost of the new equipment. The interactive monitor will help the city rid itself of unnecessary paper, digitally alter plans as meetings take place and help with digital training. The 72-inch screen will be mounted on a cart for mobility for the various meetings in the city. “It’s real time, and if you’re making the changes, the employees can see the change. It’s going to be a wonderful asset,” explained Human Resource Director Jennifer Whitaker.
The council suspended the rule requiring a third reading, approving the transfer of funds effective immediately
