Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club Chosen As An Honor Club By Optimist International
WARSAW — The Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club for the Optimist Year of 2016-2017 was chosen as an Honor Club by Optimist International. Of the over 2,900 clubs worldwide less than 20 percent receive this distinction.
In order to receive this distinction, the club has to follow guidelines set forth by Optimist International which include recruitment of new members, all reports filed on time and accurately and all monies accounted for and the club operates with a positive cash flow to provide scholarship opportunities for youth programs. During the time frame that the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club was honored with this distinction the club was led by President Tony Ciriello, Secretary Michele Bickel and Treasurer Andy Swihart.
The Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club is the number one club in the State of Indiana and the sixth largest club in Optimist International.
President Steve Hollar presented past-president Tony Ciriello with an Honor Club Citation from Optimist International.
Anyone interested in joining the club are welcome to contact any member or visit the weekly meetings which are held at 7 a.m. Wednesdays at the Shrine Building at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds.
