Main On Main Returns To Scene Of The Crime
NORTH WEBSTER — Main on Main Comedy Improv Troupe is excited to announce that they once again have been invited to be a part of the annual Comedy Criminals Improv Festival and Competition Saturday, March 24, at the Elkhart Civic Theatre.
Comedy Criminals is a night of comedy improv where teams vie for audience and judge votes in a competition of improv games and scenes. Improv is an acting form where the actors create scenes “on the fly,” often based on suggestions from the audience.
Main on Main, from North Webster, will be returning to the annual Comedy Criminals event for the fifth time, having won the competition in 2014 and being awarded the Audience Choice prize at the 2017 event.
Todd Lucas, of Main on Main, says, “We always look forward to returning to Comedy Criminals. It’s a lot of fun to get to perform with other great improv teams and it is a privilege to appear on the historic stage at the Bristol Opera House. This year we’re going to be joined by Pickapart Theatre, Improv Deli and the Lark Comedy Institute. May the best team win.”
The Comedy Criminals Improv Festival and Competition will be Saturday, March 24. The show is rated PG-16 and may contain strong language and adult humor. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. The Elkhart Civic Theatre is located at 210 East Vistula St., Bristol.
