Sandra L. Fiedeke, 54, of Pierceton, Ind., passed away at 8:26 p.m., Friday, May 18, 2012, in her residence.

On June 10, 1957, Sandra was born in LaPorte, Ind., to Russell and Louise (Barth) Sponseller.  She married Steve Fiedeke on Feb. 14 1991 in Goshen, Ind.

Sandra graduated from Warsaw High School in 1975.  She was involved in finance banking and was Monroe Township Trustee since 1999.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Warsaw as well as Lambda Chi Omega Philanthropic Sorority.  She was a past member of the Tippecanoe Country Club, a member of several banking associations and a board member at Kosciusko Community Hospital and Multi Township EMS.

Sandra is survived by her husband: Steve Fiedeke, Pierceton; four children: Lawrence “J.R.” (Emily) Manuel, Evansville; Cassandra “Cassie” (Kale) Elkins, Warsaw; Todd (Sue) Fiedeke, Syracuse and Troy (Hope) Fiedeke, all of Syracuse; one brother: Russell (Karen) Sponseller Jr., Ossian; five sisters: Carolyn Sue (Harry) Wittig,  Pierceton; Diana Kay Allen, Leesburg; Peggy (Ronald) Campbell, Warsaw, Janet (and spouse Kevin) Kinney, Leesburg and Jo Ellen (and spouse Troy) Dirck, Warsaw and 7 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; first husband: Larry Wayne Manuel; and a sister: Patricia Ann Holle.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Reverend Andy Campbell officiating. Burial will be at South Whitley Cemetery, South Whitle.
