Warsaw Hoops Hosting Pink Out Night
WARSAW – The Warsaw girls basketball team, currently undefeated and ranked No. 10 in Class 4-A, will host a Pink Out Night on Jan. 9.
The Pink Out Night will be held during the girls home game versus Fort Wayne Carroll. The purpose of the event is to raise breast cancer awareness and funds for mammograms for low income women through the Good Samaritan Fund.
The Tigers will wear pink uniforms for the game that will be auctioned off. There will also be a basketball signed by former Miss Basketball winners Jaclyn Leininger, Judi Warren and Chanda Kline from Warsaw that will also be auctioned off. Pink t-shirts will also be on sale for $10 each with the proceeds going to the Good Samaritan Fund.
Breast cancer survivors are welcome to attend the game and will be honored at halftime.
The Carroll at Warsaw game next Wednesday begins with the junior varsity contest at 6:15 p.m. with the varsity game to follow at approximately 7:45 p.m.
