Dynamic Duo Leads Warsaw Swim Win
WARSAW – The outstanding duo of Spencer Davidson and Jayden Parrett each played a huge role Saturday as the Warsaw boys swim team topped Concord 112-74.
Davidson and Parrett each won a pair of individual races and also swam a leg on two first-place relay teams as the host Tigers won the final Northern Lakes Conference meet of the regular season.
Davidson won the 100 butterly in a time of 55.37 and took top honors in the 100 breaststroke race in 1:03.58. Parrett prevailed in both the 50 freestyle in 23.36 and the 100 backstroke in 55.85.
Davidson and Parrett teamed with Caleb Snyder and Matt Wildman to win the 200 medley relay race in a time of 1:43.85. The duo then paired with Josh Miller and JD French to take first in the 400 freestyle relay race in a time of 3:33.07.
Zach Taylor won the 200 individual medley in 2:09.96 for the Tigers and Dean Katris took first in the diving competition with a top score of 207.95.
Warsaw improves to 9-1 overall and finishes at 6-1 in NLC action.
The Tigers host Culver Academy Jan. 15.
