‘Musical May’ Theme Of This Month’s First Friday Event
WARSAW — Enjoy the spring weather and multiple musical acts during this month’s First Friday event. The Musical May event will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 4, in downtown Warsaw.
On center stage, Russ Weed will be performing as Frank Sinatra from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m. Then from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., jazz band Fascinating Rhythm will be performing with help from the Lakeland Community Choir.
Other musical acts will be scattered around the downtown area. Bath House Records will host two bands in the lower level of the store. Beez and the Rocker will perform in front of the Emporium, David Haney will perform inside the Latte Lounge, Madi Hale will be at Meraki, Adrian Fraley will be performing at One Ten Craft Meatery and Jerry Kramer will be in front of Mountain Music. IPFW’s Singing Don’s will be strolling around the downtown area from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
A new addition to the First Friday line-up will be available this month. Crossroads Community Church will be providing a safe and fun children’s area for kids four years old through fifth grade. Parents can register their kids and drop them off for a fun play time while the adults enjoy the music. This will be located on the northeast corner of the courthouse lawn.
