Buddy Pearson
Buddy “Bud” Pearson, 84, Cromwell, passed away at 9 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2018, at his home. He was born on Feb. 1, 1934, in Portland, Ore.
He attended public schools in Oregon, Fresno College in Fresno, Calif. and was a United States Marine Corps veteran, who served during the Korean War. On Dec. 30, 1976, in Danville, Ill., he married Elaine K. Lamb, who survives and moved to the Syracuse and Cromwell area in 1978 from Marion. He retired from Walmart in Warsaw after 13 years as an assembler. He was formerly an assistant manager at Oakwood Conference Center in Syracuse & Sellers Manufacturing in Milford.
He was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife: Elaine Pearson, Cromwell; daughter: Dea (Mike) Gallahan, Amboy; two sons: John (Stephanie) Pearson and James Pearson, both of Cromwell; two grandsons: Clint Evans and Corbin Pearson; and granddaughter: Temperance Marie Pearson; step-grandson: Peyton Reese; great grandson: Xavier Evans.
Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Rev. David Henry officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County 4356 N. SR15, Warsaw,.
