Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
5:18 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, East SR 14, east of South SR 13, Claypool. Drivers: Cheyenne K. Heath, 20, North Woodland Court, Liberty; and Joel A. McColley, 28, Harrison Street, Lagro. Heath’s vehicle rear-ended a Metzger Landscaping dump truck driven by McColley. Damage up to $10,000.
4:42 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, West US 30 and North CR 800W, Warsaw. Drivers: Bradley R. Prater, 20, East Harrison Street, Claypool; and Bryan C. Kelley, 42, Foote Road, Harlan. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Damage up to $5,000.
7:03 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, East US 30, east of East CR 200S, Pierceton. Driver: Tiffany J. Bahls, 36, Breakwater Drive, Fort Wayne. Bahls stated she was westbound on US 30 when she fell asleep, resulting in her vehicle rear-ending a semi truck trailer. Bahls had damage to the front of her vehicle; the semi continued down the road. Damage up to $2,500.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
7:22 a.m. Thursday, June 21, East Sheridan Street, west of North Harrison Street, Warsaw. Driver: Brandon S. Sensibaugh, 33, North Lindberg Street, Warsaw. Sensibaugh reported being distracted by his cell phone, resulting in his vehicle going off the right side of the road, striking a utility/light pole. He was treated at the scene by Lutheran medics. Damage up to $25,000.
4:13 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, Dubois Drive, Warsaw. Driver: David L Flynn, 66, West CR 900N, Milford. Flynn advised he was pulling a trailer with a large boat lift on the trailer. Flynn was driving through the parking lot at Pill Box Pharmacy and slowly approached an archway/sign that stands over the private drive at Pill Box. The top portion of the boat lift made contact with the lower portion of the overhead archway/sign. Damage up to $2,500.
5:57 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, South Union Street, south of Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Rachel A. Irvine, 23, East Sunset Drive, Bourbon. Irvine stated she was backing her vehicle out of a driveway on South Union Street when she was distracted by a young child in the vehicle, resulting in her vehicle striking a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
