Explore The Science Of Farming Wednesday
SYRACUSE — It’s that time of year for the annual Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation’s Agricultural Watershed Tour, a part of the 2018 WACF’s education series. The tour will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the Anderson Farm.
The tour is hosted by Russell Anderson and his family on the land of Anderson Farms in Noble County. Anderson is a WACF board member and Purdue educated agricultural specialist. He will explain how responsible modern farming practices and activities are of vital importance to the water quality in the Wawasee watershed. A rustic tractor and wagon tour of Dillon Creek as it flows through the fields of Anderson Farms is the popular finale of this two-hour free event.
Parking will be near County Line Road and CR 300N, look for the WACF banner.
