Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 4:04 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 5200 block of East CR 500N, Leesburg. Police responded to the Stephen R. Ledgerwood residence to investigate the theft of a motorcycle. Stolen was a blue and yellow 1999 Suzuki. Value: $5,000.
- 2:51 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, 100 block of EMS B6 Lane, Leesburg. Police responded to the Pamela Sherwood residence to investigate the theft of an attached buggy. Stolen was a powder blue Ningbo Dongfang Lingyon buggy with a roll cage, lights, mag wheels and a spare tire on back. No estimated value.
- 9:51 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, 200 block of South Main Street, Leesburg. Police responded to the Freedom Oil Express to investigate an attempted burglary.
- 11:42 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 1400 block of Rivercrest Drive, Warsaw. Police responded to the Bryan Moriarty residence to investigate a burglary attempt.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 4:50 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, 2200 block of Bluewater Drive, Warsaw. Police responded to the Thomas Edgington residence to investigate a residential entry.
- 5:55 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 700 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. Police responded to a criminal mischief call at the Juergen Voss residence. A wooden door was damaged. Damage: $700.
- 5:40 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, 2500 block of Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Police responded to Walmart and talked to Lisa Bronson, who reported a theft of cash. Value: $53.56.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 2:34 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 200 block of Boys City Drive, Winona Lake. Police responded to the Brandie Swick residence to investigate a theft of a firearm from a motor vehicle. Taken was a Walther 9mm with a single stack magazine carrying eight rounds and none in the chamber.
