Last year’s free movie night event at Atwood Aldersgate UMC.

ATWOOD —  Atwood Aldersgate United Methodist Church, located at 105 Hovey St., Atwood, is hosting a free community outdoor movie event at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14. The event is free and is open to the public. Hotdogs, popcorn and lemonade will be provided at no cost. The featured movie is “Megamind.”

Please bring a nonperishable food item to be donated to the Combined Community Services food bank. Attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs to sit in, which will be set up in the parking lot.

In the event of bad weather, the movie will be shown inside the church
