Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
10:47 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, North SR 15 and West CR 400N, Warsaw. Driver: Patricia A. Espinoza, 57, West Catholic Street, Pierceton. Espinoza told police she was driving her vehicle north on SR 15 when a deer entered the roadway. She was unable to avoid hitting the deer. Damage up to $2,500.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:
3:30 p.m. Saturday, West Brooklyn Street, north of North Maple Street, Syracuse. Drivers: Jaime Ponce, 37, Wexford Place, Warsaw; Tracey L. Shaffer, 46, Sand Hill Lane, Warsaw. Ponce told police he was backing his vehicle out of a parking space and did not see the vehicle driven by Shaffer. Damage up to $2,500.
12:03 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, South Huntington Street, Syracuse. Drivers: Brian C. Newlin, 44, North Elm Grove Drive, Syracuse; Christy A. Lavigne, 37, North American Way, Syracuse. Newlin told police he was backing his vehicle out of a parking space and did not see Lavigne’s vehicle due to his view being obstructed, causing the collision. Damage up to $2,500.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
10:34 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, North Detroit Street, north of Lyon Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Emily A. Demske, 22, North Washington Street, Warsaw; Adrian Bradley, 64, East Sycamore Street, Silver Lake. Demske told police she did not notice Bradley’s vehicle stopped in the roadway until it was too late to avoid a rear-end collision. Damage up to $25,000.
