Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
12:06 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, West CR 400N and North SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Jamie L. Barry, 33, Kinwood Drive, Milford; and Alejandro C. Rico, 31, Indian Trail, Warsaw. Barry stated she had been experiencing issues with brake failure and had swerved to the right to avoid a collision with Rico’s vehicle, which was in front of her. The front driver side of Barry’s vehicle struck the front passenger side of Rico’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
12:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, West CR 250N and Douglas Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Tomas R. Rivera, 20, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw; and Robert N. Smith, 58, Behner Way, Indianapolis. Rivera’s vehicle rear-ended Smith’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
7:03 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, East Center Street, west of North Lincoln Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Sierra L. Robinson. 21, South CR 400W, Warsaw; and Bryce G. Mustain, 20, South Morton Street, Warsaw. The vehicles collided when Robinson proceeded toward a left turn lane, going around stopped traffic, and Mustain was pulling out of an alley. Damage up to $5,000.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
7:09 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, Lake City Highway and Parker Street, Winona Lake. Driver: Carol E. Dyck, 74, Colonial Drive, Warsaw. Dyck advised she was making a right turn at a red light. She stated she saw another vehicle coming but thought they were making a turn. Dyck’s vehicle pulled onto Lake City Highway, striking a trailer. Damage up to $5,000.
