Wolf To Be Featured On American Ninja Warrior Junior
AUBURN – This Thanksgiving weekend, an area teen will show the country what she is made of.
Joy Wolf, a 12-year-old from Allen County, will step up to the course on the first season of the new television show American Ninja Warrior Junior on the Universal Kids Network.
Wolf was one of 192 junior competitors selected from thousands of applications around the country. She was the only competitor chosen to represent the state of Indiana.
In July, junior ninjas ages 9-14 years old traveled to Los Angeles to take on an obstacle course similar to those featured on the adult version of the show. Wolf competed in the 11-12 year old age group. The junior contestants attempted obstacles like Tic Toc, Sonic Swing and the infamous Warped Wall in side by side races.
Wolf is a seventh grade student from Auburn in the East Allen County school system. She trains weekly with American Ninja Warrior National Finalist Michael Bougher. Earlier this year, during season 10 of American Ninja Warrior, the Fort Wayne native Bougher completed the ANW Indianapolis Qualifier with the fastest time of the night.
The first season of American Ninja Warrior Junior began airing on Universal Kids in October. Wolf’s episode is scheduled to air Saturday, Nov. 24, at 7 p.m. EST.
