Akron Woman Arrested For Fraudulently Using Credit Card
WARSAW — An Akron woman was arrested after using a female’s credit card without permission.
Jamie L. Davis, 35, 1875 S. CR 1275E, Akron, is being charged with fraud, a level 6 felony; forgery, a level 6 felony; and theft, a class A misdemeanor.
On Oct. 24, a female subject reported a missing credit card. The card was used three times without her permission.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, $118.66 was charged on the female’s card at Big R. $372.23 was charged on the card at Meijer. Additional charges were applied against the card at the Warsaw Deli Mart.
Big R provided video surveillance of the person using the female’s credit card to an officer with the Warsaw Police Department. The female identified the person using her card without her permission as Davis.
Davis admitted she used the female’s credit card without her permission.
Davis was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Nov. 30, with a $5,750 surety and cash bond.
