Alex

A shy guy with a sensitive side, Alex is a cat cuddler’s dream come true. He is a one-year-old, neutered, male Domestic Short Hair mix. He has a black and white coat with glowing yellow eyes. When Alex first came to the AWL he was very nervous and frightened of people. He would often hide behind his litter box and try to make himself as small as possible. After days of working really hard to show Alex that he was in a safe place, we discovered his heart of gold. Alex loves to cuddle and have his chin rubbed. His sweet and loving nature makes him a “purrfect” lap cat. He is hoping for a kind family that will shower him with affection and help build his confidence.

Alex’s adoption fee is $70.

Leia

Leia doesn’t mind if you’re too short to be a stormtrooper. She loves everyone she meets. This one-year-old, spayed, female Redbone Coonhound and Beagle mix is super sweet and all puppy. She does well with children, cats, and if you have other dogs she would like to meet them. Leia has lots of energy and would do best with an active and patient family that will teach her manners and go on secret missions. Will you be her Obi-Wan Kenobi? You’re her only hope of a forever home.

Leia’s adoption fee is $130.
