Eight Retire From Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
KOSCIUSKO — Sheriff William Rocky Goshert and members of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recognized eight members of the Sheriff’s Department for service to our community this past week.
Jonathan T. Tyler was recognized for 21 years of service with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. Tyler worked as a patrol sergeant, detective sergeant and a boat patrol coordinator during his service with the Sheriff’s Department. Tyler has moved on to work in the private sector within the community.
Floyd A. Knafel was recognized for 28 years of service with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. Knafel worked as a patrol sergeant and an administrative sergeant during his service with the sheriff’s department. Knafel has retired with plans to assist with his family farm.
Joe R. Mooney was recognized for 31 years of service with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. Mooney worked as a detective lieutenant, detective sergeant and a patrol sergeant during his service with the sheriff’s department. Mooney has moved on to work in the private sector within the community.
Brandon W. Hepler was recognized for 17 years of service with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. Hepler worked as a patrol corporal and was a member of the Kosciusko County Dive Team during his service with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. Hepler has moved on to work in the private sector within the community.
Christopher W. Anderson was recognized for six years of service with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. Anderson worked as a patrol deputy and was a member of the Kosciusko County Swat Team during his service with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. Anderson has moved on to work in the private sector within the community.
Matt Rapp was recognized for 26 years of service with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. Rapp worked as a patrol corporal, detective sergeant and detective lieutenant during his service with the sheriff’s department. Rapp’s retirement is effective on Jan. 1, 2019.
Todd Sautter was recognized for 24 years of service with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. Sautter worked as a patrol sergeant, detective sergeant and detective lieutenant during his service with the sheriff’s department. Sautter has moved on to work in the private sector within the community.
William Rocky Goshert was recognized for 18 years of service with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. Goshert worked as a patrol corporal, captain and sheriff of Kosciusko County during his service with the sheriff’s department. Goshert’s retirement will be effective Jan. 1, 2019.
