Benefit Lunch And Bake Sale Scheduled For North Manchester Teen
NORTH MANCHESTER — A benefit lunch and bake sale is being held for Gage Reed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at the Main View, 141 N. Main St., North Manchester. The lunch will include beef, noodles, corn or fiesta salads and dessert options.
Gage is a 15-year-old boy who was diagnosed with Primary Mediastinal Large B-Cell Lymphoma, a form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, on Friday, July 13, 2018. He has been through numerous tests, a full course of chemotherapy, and a very extensive biopsy; however, it was discovered that the first course of chemotherapy was not enough. He is now on his second course of treatment with the knowledge that the road to remission will be much longer than expected. It’s reported that Gage never seems to let this get him down, as he’s always smiling and making jokes.
