Nappanee Man Arrested For Child Molest
KOSCIUSKO — A Nappanee man was arrested for child molestation following an investigation by detectives with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office on Jan. 23.
Detectives began an investigation after receiving a complaint of possible child molestation. At the conclusion of the investigation, Lester Chupp, 72, Nappanee, was arrested and taken to the Kosciusko County Jail.
Chupp faces a preliminary charge of child molestation, a level 3 felony. He is currently being held on a $20,250 surety and cash bond.
Sheriff Kyle Dukes ensures the public that crimes involving children will be promptly and thoroughly investigated by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
