BOURBON — Triton tennis coach Al Peckham was honored by the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association as the organization’s District 3 Girls Coach of the Year recently.

Peckham, who helms both the Trojans’ boys and girls tennis programs, guided Triton’s girls team to a 9-3 record and a Hoosier North Athletic Conference championship last spring. It was the team’s third straight HNAC title after splitting Northern State Conference title honors with Bremen in the last year of the now-defunct league in 2015.

Peckham’s girls teams have gone a combined 63-20 over the past six seasons.
