Net 43 Arrests Four In Claypool
CLAYPOOL — Based upon anonymous tips, the Claypool Police Department initiated a lengthy investigation at 107 W. Walnut St.
Kosciusko County’s unified narcotics unit, NET 43, joined the case, at the request of Claypool police officers. NET 43 continued to gather intelligence on the potential narcotics activity occurring at that location.
On May 2, a search warrant was executed at the residence by Kosciusko County SWAT. Four subjects were taken into custody without incident by SWAT officers. During the search of the home, NET 43 personnel located firearms, methamphetamine and a substantial amount of hypodermic needles. The four suspects were transported to the Kosciusko County Jail.
Drake Allen Cochran, 27, Walnut Street, Claypool, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of a hypodermic syringe, with a $10,250 surety and cash bond.
Cora Gail Warstler, 23, South Street, Burket, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hypodermic syringe, and visiting a common nuisance, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
Zackery Hernandez, 30, Hepler Drive, Warsaw, is charged with visiting a common nuisance and probation violation, with a $400 cash bond.
David Alan Shadd, 30, homeless, is charged with visiting a common nuisance, failure to appear, and probation violation, with a $400 cash bond.
In addition to Claypool Police and Kosciusko County SWAT, NET 43 was assisted by Indiana Department of Natural Resources Conservation officers, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, the Indiana State Police, Norfolk Southern Railroad police, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and Lutheran EMS.
