GOSHEN, Ind. –  GoShakes Theatre announces non-union auditions for its inaugural production of William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet.

The classic story of star-crossed lovers. Torn apart by their feuding families, caught between duty and desire and forced to irreconcilable action. This is a Romeo and Juliet re-imagined; visceral and immediate. Experience Shakespeare like you’ve never seen him before.

Open call auditions will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 2, with same day callbacks from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The auditions will be at The Goshen Art Center, 113 1/2 E. Lincoln Ave. Goshen.

Director Michelle Milne (Columbia College, Chicago) will be in attendance for the full day of auditions.

Rehearsals begin March 8. Show dates and times are as follows: 8 p.m. May 4-5, 9-10 and 11-13; and 10 a.m. May 4, 9 and 11. The play will be in the Red Tail Barn, 303 W. Waverly, Goshen.
