Warsaw Takes NLC All-Sports Titles
The WCHS athletic programs, on both the boys and girls sides, have taken the Northern Lakes Conference all-sports awards for the 2011-12 school year.
The Warsaw boys sports programs totaled 122 points with conference championships in soccer, cross country, golf and track.
The Warsaw girls athletic teams compiled 126 points, winning NLC titles in cross country and track.
Concord was second in the boys final standings with 109 points, followed by Northridge (105), Elkhart Memorial (100), Goshen (88), NorthWood (750, Plymouth (66) and Wawasee (55). Concord won league titles in football and tennis, Northridge in swimming and baseball and Memorial in wrestling and basketball.
Northridge was second in the girls final standings with 118 points, followed by Concord (74), Elkhart Memorial (74), Goshen (70), NorthWood (63), Wawasee (62) and Plymouth (61). Northridge won NLC championships in soccer, swimming, softball and tennis and Memorial in volleyball and basketball.
