Four members of the Warsaw softball team and a pair of Wawasee players earned first-team All-Northern Lakes Conference honors for the 2012 season.
Tabbed from the Tigers were Kelsey Dotson, Kendra Marshall, Cari O’Hara and Ashley Ousley.
Earning first-team accolades for Wawasee were Gabi Routson and Madi Anderson.
Champion Northridge, which won the NLC title at 14-0, had six players chosen. Honored from the Class 4-A, sectional champion No. 4 Raiders were Haley Nixon, Haley Schrock, Caity Pixley, Brittany Wingard, Madison Schrock and Brianne O’Dell.
Also chosen as first-team picks were Jenny Miller and Kennadie Lopez of Concord, Christy Hill, Lauren Strausborger and Paula Strausborger of Elkhart Memorial, McKenzie Byler of Goshen, Allie Mattingly of NorthWood and Marissa Sullivan of Plymouth.
Coach Bo O’Dell of Northridge was named the NLC Coach of the Year.
Earning honorable mention honors were Kaitlyn Wiley and Kiera Stahly of Warsaw and Kylie Norris of Wawasee.
Northridge went 14-0 to win the league with Warsaw second at 11-3, followed by Concord (9-5), Wawasee (8-6), Memorial (6-8), Goshen (5-9), NorthWood (3-11) and Plymouth (0-14).
