Net 43 Makes Four Arrests in Milford Thursday Evening

MILFORD — A complaint, followed by an investigation, of methamphetamine usage at a residence in Milford, resulted in the arrest of four people Thursday evening at 111 N. Henry Street.
Jeffrey Robert Fisher, 33, 111 N. henry St., Milford; Kali Kay Ohman, 27, homeless; Matthew James Smiechowski, 25, Elkhart and Katelynd Breann Landess, 23, 212 Saint Lo Ave., Mishawaka, were all arrested at the residence.
Fisher has been initially arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia, both felonies and maintaining a common nuisance, a misdemeanor. His bond was set at $5,250.
Ohman and Landess were each charged with maintaining a common nuisance, a misdemeanor, and each were held on $500 cash bond.
Smiechowski was charged with visiting a common nuisance, a misdemeanor, and held on $450 cash bond.
Early May, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of methamphetamine usage, in the presence of children. The information deputies collected was passed on to Net 43, initiating a narcotics investigation. Because of a methodical and comprehensive operation by Net 43, officers were able to secure a search warrant for the property.
At 4 p.m. Thursday, with the assistance of Indiana State Police SWAT, Net 43 raided the home. Due to the thorough nature of the research completed by Net 43, the search warrant was executed with the knowledge that the children were not in the house. Methamphetamine, paraphernalia, scales and ammunition were found in the residence.
The four persons arrested were transported to the Kosciusko County Jail.
Net 43 was assisted by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Milford Police and Syracuse Police departments, Indiana State Police and Lutheran EMS.
