Two Arrested After Investigation To Improper Snapchat Communication
MARSHALL COUNTY — The investigation began Friday, May 10, and culminated last week with the arrest of two individuals following an investigation into alleged improper communication through Snapchat.
Heather S. Dare, 38, Walkerton, was arrested for neglect of a dependent, a level 6 felony. She has posted the $1,500 cash bond..
Raymond Grossman, 39, Walkerton, was arrested for child solicitation, a level 5 felony. He remains in the Marshall County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a complaint of alleged improper communication through Snapchat between the alleged suspect, Grossman, 39, and a 14-year-old child. Officers investigated the allegation and turned the information over to the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office. The Division of Child Services was also contacted and provided assistance in the investigation.
Information was then sent to a Marshall County Judge where warrants were issued.
