The Field House Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
LEESBURG — The Field House south of North Webster on SR 13 held its ribbon cutting ceremony today, June 25. The indoor turf facility, located at 4640 SR 13, Leesburg, can be used for a variety of different sports and events.
“We wanted to create an indoor facility so that people didn’t have to travel all the way to Rochester or Fort Wayne,” said Michael Mettham, creator of The Field House. Mettham’s wife, Ashley, operates The Dog House, a facility adjacent to The Field House that offers grooming, training and boarding.
A full-size batting cage is available for rental with machine and balls, as well as indoor soccer goals and corn hole sets. The building is also available for birthday parties, team practices, camps, clinics and more. Leagues and tournaments will also be scheduled in the near future.
Throughout the week there are scheduled times for youth speed and agility classes, corn hole, open soccer and dog agility.
Members of the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce, members of Mettham’s family and The Dog House employees were present at the ribbon cutting ceremony.
