Area Police Reports
Kosciusko
Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:
- 10:50 a.m. Sunday, June 30, 1600 block of East CR 200N, Warsaw. Police responded to the Anayeli Saucedo residence to investigate the theft of a 2011 Chevrolet, valued at $12,000.
- 3:24 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 6600 block of West CR 500S, Mentone. Police responded to the William Hunt residence to investigate a criminal mischief. An unknown person forced a large stick through an exterior glass window. Damage: $100.
- 12:28 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 7200 block of West Crystal Lake Road, Warsaw. Police responded to the Ben Durham residence to investigate a criminal mischief. A 2005 GMC was damaged while parked at a public access site.
- 1:53 p.m. Friday, June 28, 5100 block of East CR 200N, Warsaw. Police responded to the Carolyn Craddock residence to investigate a burglary. Taken was 42-inch flat screen television, a seven inch Kindle Fire and an eight-inch Kindle Fire. Value: $590.
- 10:40 a.m. Friday, June 28, 3600 block of South Bruner Road, Warsaw. Police responded to the Cynthia Crawford residence to investigate a report of someone breaking in and stealing two breaker fuses. Value: $30.
- 7:03 a.m. Friday, June 28, 3900 block of East Old Road 30, Warsaw. Police responded to the Taylar Roberts residence to investigate an auto theft. Taken was a 2007 Ford Edge.
Syracuse
Officers from the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 4:20 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 1300 block of South Huntington Street, Syracuse. Police responded the Jeffery Drumm residence to investigate a theft from a vehicle. Taken was $7 in cash, vehicle accessories and a black Smith and Wesson 9mm firearm. Value: $397.
- 11:25 p.m. Friday, June 28, 800 block of Harkless Drive, Syracuse. Police responded to the Douglas Allard residence to investigate a criminal mischief, damage done to two vehicles. Damage: $1,000.
Warsaw
Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 8:40 a.m. Monday, July 1, 1000 block of East Arthur Street, Warsaw. Police responded to a report of a found bicycle.
- 9:02 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 900 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. Police responded to the Michael E. Bornes residence to investigate the theft of two bicycles. Value: $700.
- 7:07 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2300 block of North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Police responded to the Craig Smith residence to investigate an auto theft. Taken was a 2011 Ford, valued at $11,000.
- 11:51 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Police responded to Walmart to investigate a report of shoplifting steaks. Value: $12.22.
