Two Milford Men Arrested After NET 43 Investigation
MILFORD — Two Milford men were arrested after NET 43 officers discovered drugs and a stolen RV at 229 E. CR 1150N, Milford.
On Monday, July 22, officers from NET 43 were conducting a covert surveillance operation when they positively identified Gregory Eugene Leslie Creek, 38, Milford. Creek had an active arrest warrant, issued by Kosciusko County, for pointing a firearm. Creek’s warrant stemmed from an incident on June 20, when he allegedly pointed a shotgun at a neighbor.
While executing the arrest warrant, officers detained a second subject, identified as Nicholas Garber, 19, Milford. Garber was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, synthetic drugs and paraphernalia. Creek had attempted to conceal one ounce of meth, with an approximate street value of $1,000. The meth was located by NET 43. A stolen 2019 Travel Lite Falcon GT RV was also recovered on the premises. The RV was stolen from a factory in Elkhart County.
Creek and Garber were booked into the Kosciusko County Jail for the warrant and preliminary charges, which will be reviewed by the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. In this case, Creek is being charged with possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony. Garber is being charged with theft, possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a synthetic drug.
NET 43 was assisted by the Milford Police Department and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
