Upcoming Events At North Webster Community Public Library
NORTH WEBSTER— Spend some quality bonding time with your baby or toddler at Lapsit Story Time, held at 11 a.m. every Tuesday and Friday starting Sept. 3, at North Webster Community Public Library.
While sitting on their parent or caregiver’s lap, the little ones explore books and stories, sing songs with simple hand motions and engage in meaningful play. Each 20-minute session is followed by a short play time. Parents are also given resources and ideas for fostering early literacy skills in their children. Lapsit Story Time is from children ages birth to 36 months.
Registration for Preschool Story Time begins Sept. 4. For ages 3-6, Preschool Story Time will be held 10:30 a.m. every Wednesday beginning Sept. 18 through Nov. 20. Children have fun learning through stories, finger plays and crafts. It also provides socialization for children and networking opportunities for parents. To sign your child up, stop by the Youth Services Desk or call (574) 834-7122 ext. 202.
