Funkamania Wrestling Event Saturday At CCAC
WARSAW — Funkdafied Wrestling Federation will celebrate its sixth year of entertaining the Warsaw area with the finest in Professional Wrestling this Saturday, Oct. 19 at Funkamania XVII.
Local and regional wrestlers will be strapping up their boots and entering the squared circle to battle for glory, championships, and to settle heated feuds. The action takes place at the City-County Athletic Complex in Warsaw where FWF now calls home, said a news release from the FWF.
Nearly 400 fans are anticipated to fill the CCAC’s indoor soccer arena to witness the action first hand. Concessions will be available, courtesy of B-Mac’s. Tickets are always available at the door for $15 at each event, but reserved seating in the first three rows must be purchased ahead of time (same price but for better seats).
Doors open at 6 p.m. Start time is at 7 p.m.
FWF provides fans with exciting, creative matches that are episodic — there is a story behind every match and the results from one event carry over in a fluid way to the next.
Here’s what fans can expect on Saturday night:
Funkamania will determine who will be the FWF Tag Team Champions in a grueling Gauntlet match between 4 tag teams, a Fatal 4-Way Match for the FWF Cruiserweight Championship, multiple heated rivalries, and the Main Event: a battle for the vacant FWF World Heavyweight Championship between former Champion Dru Skillz (who lost the title to Cosmo in Cosmo’s Farewell Match, forcing the title to be vacated upon his retirement) and Heroes and Legends Champion Anthony Toatele (Toatele was placed in the match after Tank, who won the opportunity for the championship by winning the 40-man Firestorm match, suffered a knee injury at Best of Both Worlds in September.)
