Pierceton Welcomes Koldewey As Full-Time Police Officer
PIERCETON — The Pierceton Police have announced the hiring of Brooke Koldewey as a full-time officer.
Koldewey is from the Fort Wayne area and attended the University of Saint Francis. She previously worked as a Medic for Parkview Health and served as a Reserve Officer for the Pierceton Police. She is currently finishing up her F.T.O. training program and will attend the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in Plainfield during the spring of 2020.
Pierceton Police Chief Tim Sammons said, “I am very excited to watch Officer Koldewey grow as a police officer. She has worked very hard to fulfill her dream.”
“It is exciting to know that many young people still think that law enforcement is a noble profession and are willing to step up to serve their community. The citizens of Pierceton are blessed to have her,” said Sammons.
