Schrock Athletic Complex Ready For Ice Skating
SYRACUSE — The ice is officially safe to skate on at the Schrock Athletic Complex, 900 W. Brooklyn St., Syracuse.
The ice rink is open from 8 a.m. until dark every day, weather permitting, and there is no cost to skate.
Stop by the Syracuse Community Center if you need to borrow skates. They have skates from size 9 youth to 12 for adults. Participants need to leave a deposit of $20 for skates for the family and will receive the deposit back when the skates are returned.
The community center is open for ice skate rental from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. They are closed on Sundays.
The ice is measured throughout the day to ensure it is safe to skate. Any changes to skating at the Schrock Athletic Complex will be announced on the Syracuse Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
