National Weather Service Issues Winter Weather Advisory
WARSAW — The National Weather Service of Northern Indiana has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Kosciusko County from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9.
All of northern Indiana is included in the advisory, including Fulton, Marshall, Elkhart, Whitley and Wabash counties.
One to three inches of snow is expected, with brief periods of heavy snowfall. Plan on slippery road conditions. Heavy snow and patchy blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility.
A band of heavy snow is expected to move across the advisory area and quickly produce most of the one to three inches of expected snow. Visibilities within this band are expected to become significantly restricted. This band is expected to move fairly quickly across the advisory area but could impact any given location for up to three hours.
Slow down and use caution while traveling.
